Coco is a beautiful and classy-looking black pig.  She gets her name from her white feet that makes it look like she is wearing high heels.  Coco loves water more than any pig at Rosies. When she is not demanding belly rubs and scratches behind her ears, she can be found lazing in the pool.  She naps in the pool.  She contemplates life in the pool.  And, she will gladly eat watermelon and bananas while in the pool.

Coco is part of the “Beach Bum” crew.  She had been running around wild on the beaches in the Outerbanks, in North Carolina.  We think she was probably dumped at the beach. Often people drop off farmed pigs in areas where there are wild boar, in hopes that they will mate and multiply. They then hunt the pigs for sport.  We knew we needed to rescue Coco and the “Beach Bums” before they started having babies and medical problems.
